The Austin Aquabats are the official Austin Kayak Polo team in Austin, TX. We are a club devoted to promote and develop the sport of kayak polo. We have been playing Kayak Polo (Canoe Polo) on Lady Bird Lake since 1997. We are a diverse group of experienced and new paddlers who meet every week to play kayak polo. Players from our team have advanced to play in the U.S. National Men's Team & U.S. National Women’s Team, we compete in numerous Kayak Polo competitions throughout the year.
