“Kayak Polo is different than most other team sports, because it’s the only kayaking team sport...it's graceful and brutal. It’s also a great way to relieve stress and stay refreshed during Texas summers. I like the fact the you don’t need to be the biggest or strongest to be a successful player, if you have the right technique and understanding of strategy.”
Ezio studied Chemical Engineering at UT Austin from 1999 to 2003 and has been working as an Environmental Engineer with Parsons since 2003.
Ezio enjoys travel, he has traveled to 5 continents so far. Ezio also likes photography and hiking. His proudest and interesting achievements, other than raising his 2 children into pretty cool people, have been when he scored a goal against Italy in 2004 and coming back to the US National Team in 2017 for the PanAmerican Championships and being tournament top scorer for the US, 13 years after his last game with the National Team.
