BEGINNER'S NIGHT
All skill levels are welcome, We are always looking for new players. Beginner’s Nights are held every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Game Plan:
On your first lesson, we will go over the basics of paddling, provide safety information, and get you geared up. We will help get you setup with a sit-on-top kayak rental from our partners at Texas Rowing Center. Kayak rentals cost $15.00 per hour, you will be able to use the club gear for free after your first two lessons.
At 6:45 p.m. we will paddle a short distance to the pitch, we'll warm up, and you will be provided with hands on instructions on the basics of how to play kayak polo. You can also check out the rules page found on this website for more information. As soon as the briefing is over, we'll start the best part...playing kayak polo games!
At 8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. after an awesome game, we'll paddle back in our kayaks to the Texas Rowing Center and safely store the gear.
What to bring:
Please bring swimwear and $15.00 for your kayak rental from Texas Rowing Center, additional gear needed to play will be provided. For your comfort, bring drinking water, sun screen, a towel, and dry clothes to change into afterwards. You'll be able to store your personal belongings in our shed, it has a lock on it.
After your first time out:
Once you're hooked on the game and you feel ready, we'll teach you how to use the club kayaks for free on your second visit. This includes training you on safety procedures and what to do when you roll over.
Directions:
When you arrive at the Texas Rowing Center, please walk across the trail onto the dock and our shed is located on the far right side of the dock if your are facing the water. Please reference the map below.
